Vancouver “Meet at the Beach”

Times: 10:00 – 2:00 with BBQ to follow at Orca Boats shop

Every year, dozens of boat builders, home builders and those interested in building their own small wooden boat gather to meet, discuss designs and plans, learn new techniques and tips, and share a common interest in small wooden boats. This is non-commercial event. There is no registration fee, however if you plan to bring a boat, please contact us by e-mail or give us a call. We like to know how many boats and what type will be present. It helps in planning the event.

1:00 pm - Launchings

Invariably there are those that want to get on the water. Take this opportunity to take your photos from the pier or load your boat(s) up and head to the BBQ.

Everyone is welcome to drop by the shop after the beach event and join the family gathering and BBQ. Food and beverage is fully hosted by Orca Boats, however, we will be taking donations for the event. All proceeds to the Georgia Strait Alliance of B.C. www.georgiastrait.org.
